The OnePlus 8 and 8 Pro do not have a notification LED light, but you can fix that, sort of. There is an app in the Google Play Store that allows you to add a notification LED light to the OnePlus 8 series.
aodNotify app allows you to add a notification LED to the OnePlus 8
This app is called 'aodNotify', and it's still in Early Access. That means that the app is still not completely finished, and it may be buggy. So do note that before you try it out.
