Netflix confirms a cheaper, ad-supported tier will be coming

One of the appeals of Spotify compared to other music streaming services is that if you don't want to pay for it, you can always listen to the ad-supported tier for free. It looks like Netflix will be doing the same to their service as well. This was confirmed by the company's co-CEO Ted Sarandos who spoke at the Cannes Lions advertising festival on Thursday.
