T-Mobile Offering Up To $900 For AT&T “Grandfathered” Users To Switch

T-Mobile is once again targeting AT&T customers with its latest promotion. Last week, AT&T decided to raise rates on its “grandfathered” unlimited data customers for the third time in two years. So T-Mobile has decided to offer a pretty sweet deal to get those customers away from AT&T and onto its network. Offering up to $900 to switch to the Un-carrier. T-Mobile is offering the usual $650 to switch to T-Mobile when you trade-in your smartphone, but you also get an extra $250 as a “one-time offer to make up for AT&T breaking their promises over these last two years” according to T-Mobile...

Sprint Ending $15 Unlimited Promotion After Just One Week

Just over a week from the initial announcement of Sprint's $15 per month Unlimited Kickstart offer for those who switched to its carrier services, the promotion will be brought to a close. Those who manage to get in on the deal before it expires - on June 15 at midnight ET - will be able to keep the pricing. WTH? T-Mobile offers $250 to certain AT&T grandfathered unlimited subscribers who make the switch

Last week, we informed you about AT&T's decision to hike the monthly price of unlimited service to subscribers grandfathered into low priced unlimited service. The nation's second largest carrier has not offered this particular plan for eight years, and will raise the price to $45 per month for each grandfathered subscriber. That is still a bargain compared to the $65 a month that AT&T's current unlimited tier is priced at. And those grandfathered into the older plan don't have to deal with the caps on the speeds of streaming services, like the one that limits video streams to 480p.
