It's just life: smartphones lose software support as time goes on, and there are devices that we're sad to see go. This is the case for the Pixel 4 and the Pixel 4 XL, as Google is issuing the final update to these phones.
Google launched the Pixel 4 devices back in October 2019, and they marked the series' departure from the two-tone glass design. This phone also got rid of the hideous notch that we saw with the Pixel 3 phone XL. It was an interesting phone in its own subdued way, but all things must come to an end.
