Bing Can Now Search The Internet Using Your Handset's Camera

Microsoft today announced that it's adding new Visual Search capabilities to its Bing search engine which build upon the visual technology that's already present in the search engine. The new capabilities will enable users to search the web using their device's camera. They will be able to search, shop, and learn more by searching through the photos that they take.
Users just have to tap on the camera button to get started. They then have to take a photo using the Bing apps or upload the picture from their gallery. Bing will identify the object in the picture and provide more information...

Drafts 5 is a powerful new version of a great note-taking app that we've always loved. We looked at some of the new features when it launched, and it packs some really powerful features for managing text.
If you've recently picked it up, I recommend using it as a way to quickly kick-off Day One journal entries.
After you write your thoughts, open the Actions menu. Day One will be listed under Basic Actions, so tap Day One to send the text to a new Day One entry.
Day One will launch with your included text, and you can quickly finish out the journal with a photo.

Searching the internet if largely a text-heavy experience, but Bing is looking to make things a little more visual. Microsoft announced today the rollout of new intelligent visual search capabilities across Bing, Microsoft Launcher, and Microsoft Edge , each of which will now support easily tracking things down with a snap from your phone's camera.
