After a long wait, we are finally on the doorstep of Apple's first event of 2021, which will include the announcement of their latest update to the iPad Pro. There are a couple of changes to this year's model beyond the MiniLED screen and spec bumps that you may want to be aware of before said pre-orders open up.

One of the newer technologies we've seen introduced to our smartphones in recent years comes in the form of LiDAR sensors. We've seen Apple introduce this to the 2020 iPad Pro and later the iPhone 12 series. Samsung has also followed suit with the Galaxy Note 20, but it seems that moving forwards, the company could drop the technology.
