No Man's Sky to Release on Xbox One Alongside NEXT Update

It's been a long road for No Man's Sky , but if Hello Games' founder, Sean Murray, is to be believed, this summer will finally bring the game's original potential to full realization. Announced during a live Inside Xbox event, the release date for the Xbox One version of the game will be July 24 for North America , with the European release set for July 27. The Xbox One version will include all the updates and patches that have been released up to this point, which have arguably made No Man's Sky a more full-fledged game than what was originally delivered.

Originally slated for the April 2018 Xbox One and Xbox One X update, Microsoft is finally adding 120Hz support on its consoles. The May 2018 Xbox One update finally lets users take full advantage of their high-refresh screens. The new 120Hz capabilities should grant users smoother gameplay and faster reaction times, but you'll actually need a display that supports this - of which there are only a few TVs and but a much greater number of gaming monitors.
